Great to meet and share more about our work at Platform for Life with Cheshire High Sheriff Robert Mee, Cheshire Community Foundation’s Debbie Smith and donor Caroline Lyons (not in photo.)
We talked a lot about the vital role a service like ours plays in the community and the epidemic of poor mental health that we’re seeing in low income families. We’ve helped nearly 250 people living in poverty access FREE, high quality counselling/play therapy in the community over the last 12 months. This has led many clients to make significant changes in their lives such as building more positive family and peer relationships and being able to access education or apply for jobs that had previously felt impossible.
